As part of the growing industry of professional counsellors the Victorian Chapter has been supporting the community since 2003. Counselling and networking go hand in hand and counsellors, at times, may feel alone and isolated. The work of a counsellor is especially difficult when you don't have any scaffold or support system behind you, that is where our association can assist.

• Improvement of the professional industry standards for counsellors
• Creating more opportunities for employment for members
• Continuing to provide increased member benefits
• To continue to work together with the Australian Counselling Association for formal recognition of counsellors and other projects
• Providing support, and advocacy for the counselling profession
• To continue provide education, professional development, supervision and networking opportunities to all members
